Sainsbury’s Active Kids Vouchers

Sainsbury’s are once again running their Active Kids voucher programme through to 20th May.

This year Sainsbury’s have an additional opportunity for groups – a chance to win up to 15,000 vouchers worth of equipment by having the most friends and supporters vote for us. There is loads of great equipment – see the ideas on our wish list at the link below.

Under Find out who’s collecting near you, enter postcode “KT13” and select organisation type “Scout” then click on 4th Weybridge to see our wish list and click Nominate. You will be asked to submit your email address to ensure only 1 vote per email address and to type in the characters you can see in a box – you need to type in both sets if it shows a split display.

Last year we collected nearly 2,500 vouchers – it would be wonderful if we could do even better this year! Please help us again by collecting as many of these vouchers as possible for the Group and ask your family & friends to collect them too. They are being handed out at all Sainsbury’s  stores (large & small) and petrol stations and with online grocery orders.

Many Thanks

Welcome

Welcome to our new website – this will be the place to come to find any information about 4th Weybridge Scout Group, so please come and check back frequently!

We have three sections active sections – Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from ages six to fourteen.

We are one of three Scout Groups in the Weybridge area and we are based in the United Reformed Church Hall in Weybridge, Surrey.

If you would like to be part of a successful Group, we are always looking for extra volunteers and whether you can spend one hour every few months or one hour a year, we would like to hear from you.

Chief Scout Gold Award – Well Done

Well done to Ben & Cameron on the acheivement of this award, they are amongst the elite in Scouting that make the grade, acheived only through dedication & hard work on part of the Scout & the Leader (Sally).

Presented by the District Commissioner on Thurs 16 Jan 2014 at HQ,  Well Done.

Bag Packing at Waitrose, Weybridge

Well done to all those bag packers and bucket collectors. We raised £251.20 plus the usual handful of foreign coins – sadly no Swiss francs for our trip next year! Not quite as good as more recent years but as we can now claim gift aid on these takings, this brings it up to a wonderful £314! £157 to go off to the Philippines appeal.
